Strategic Innovation
LifeCourse Strategies begins the strategic innovation process with a comprehensive evaluation of the organization or collaborative. We help the organization take its vision from concept to practice by analyzing each strategic issue contextually, based on our thorough understanding of the health and social service fields.
Following the evaluation process, we assist organizations to develop short and long-range plans with newly clarified goals and objectives. Our principal focus is to help organizations move closer to what is most important to the organization and the people working within the organization. Our unique approach enables organizations to avoid common pitfalls that render well-developed plans dormant or on endless "to-do" lists.
LifeCourse Strategies Planning Process:
- Assists organizations to identify their unique qualities and characteristics with the purpose of clarifying the organization’s strategic vision
- Builds consensus and interdependencies among organization staff which is necessary for effective organizational planning
- Develops short-term (one-year) and long-term (three-year) strategies, with specific action plans and tasks, based on the organization's strengths and weaknesses, goals and objectives, direction, and internal and external environment
Retreats
LifeCourse Strategies facilitates one and two-day strategic innovation retreats for health and social service professionals. Our retreats boost morale, foster enhanced communication, provide education and training, and develop teamwork. We strongly believe the retreat experience (i.e., getting away from the office) provides organizations with a positive opportunity to educate and motivate personnel and assess and identify new strategic directions. Consequently, each retreat is structured to fit the specific needs and goals of the organization.
